Salvatore Allocca is a consultant of Industrial Engineering Services S.r.l..
He graduated from the Polytechnic of Naples in Electrical Engineering and also he is Member of both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (U.K.) the IEE and the IET with a master degree in mechanical engineering.
He has been co-supervisor of several student’s thesis at Naples and Salerno University in marketing and bulk materials sectors.
During his 30 years career, he worked as Chief of Engineering Dept. of a iron foundry F.S.T. S.p.A. , as Chief of Production Engineering Dept. of a rail coach industry FI.RE.MA. S.p.A., as Technical Manager and then as Commercial Director of Magaldi Group, a leading technology company in the field of bottom ash dry cooling systems for coal fired power plants.
In the above positions he had a major part in the design, sales and contracts negotiation, project management of the entire projects record for this innovative technology for more than 15 years.
His principal research interest are thermal loads prediction and layout optimisation in dry ash cooling extractors and their development.
